Introducing the Ash Catcher Mouthpiece, a game-changing innovation from Chameleon Glass. As the name suggests, this pipe features an indented mouthpiece that makes use of gravity to catch any ash or solids before they can reach your mouth. This simple yet effective design was first introduced in 2002 and has since become a staple in the world of smoking accessories.
How it works
To better understand how it works, think of archery. Put a funnel in front of your target. If you shoot at a funnel with the hole facing away from you, the funnel directs the arrow towards the center. Your arrow will always hit the bullseye. If you shoot at a funnel with the hole facing towards you, you need to be very precise. Chances are your arrow will hit the side of the funnel. If it does, your arrow will be deflected away.
The Aragorns Ash Catcher Glass Pipe mouthpiece is shaped like a funnel. It operates in a similar way, deflecting ash and other particles away from the mouthpiece hole. Ash is directed down to the base of the indentation and it stays inside the pipe. If the Ash stays in the pipe, it’s not in your mouth.
Dimples don’t work well. Cones do.

Very well crafted. Draws like a pencil. A little longer than expected so I wouldn’t carry it in my pocket, but that’s what the carry case is for! Chameleon took great care of me as a first time customer and I will definitely be buying more glass from this site! All in all, it’s a beautiful piece with perfect functionality. This is my go to piece throughout the day and the ashcatcher has never failed me. The fumed color changing glass is stunning, changing from golden yellow to blue and eventually royal purple. It sits well, it hits well and the bowl is pretty large for the size of the piece. The fact that it’s shaped like Aragorns briar pipe seriously entertains the nerd in me. Really solid glass overall.
