Introducing our Ash Catcher Cobb Glass Pipe! This two-part cobb shaped pipe boasts a stunning silver fume decoration. Fuming transforms into shades of blue and green as you use it. But it’s not just about looks – this pipe is equipped with a functional Ash Catcher mouthpiece. As one of many Chameleon Glass innovations, the Ash Catcher was one of the first available in early 2002. The Ash Catcher’s indented mouthpiece serves as a dry filter ash catcher, preventing any heavier-than-air particles like ash or particulates from being pulled into your mouth.

Functional

Gravity does the work, pulling the particles downward to collect at the base of the indent, away from the mouthpiece hole. Think of it like archery – you have two targets, one with a funnel pointing towards you and the other with the hole pointing away. If you shoot at the funnel pointed towards you, your arrow will likely hit the side of the funnel and be deflected away. But if you shoot at the other target, your arrow will always hit the bullseye as it is deflected from the sides of the funnel and into the hole. Similarly, the Ash Catcher Cobb Glass Pipe deflects the ash away from the hole, ensuring a clean smoking experience.

Art

The artistic interpretation for the Cobb comes from taking what is traditionally made of organic material and transferring it to glass. Cobbs are classic pipe shapes traditionally made from corn cobbs. Instead of a droop or a hammer shape, we decided on a sectional, two piece construction, to best resemble a traditional Cobb. Our Cobb is silver fumed for color change to blue and green.

Don’t be fooled by the ‘dimple’ and ‘push-in’ knock offs of our Ash Catchers. Those knock offs are from overseas. Grav began making them in china in 2006.
