Typhoon

The Typhoon pipe cools smoke without water. Air-director vents send smoke into chambers where it spins in a vortex, traveling roughly three times farther than through a straight airway.

Inside the Chamber

Smoke enters each chamber through engineered venturis rather than straight through the center. The Typhoon Classic uses two per chamber, and the air-director vents on each side set the smoke spinning. That longer, rotating path does the cooling that water does in a bubbler.

The lineup includes the Classic, Teardrop, Tootsie Roll, Jack Skellington Typhoon, Sax-O-Phoon and the Cyclonic Pre Filter. Read how the Typhoon works.

Typhoon Questions

Do I add water to a Typhoon pipe?

No. The Typhoon is a dry pipe. Cooling comes from the spinning airflow, not water.

What is the pipe where the smoke spins around called?

It is called a cyclonic or vortex pipe. The Typhoon is our original version.

Was the Typhoon the first cyclonic pipe?

Our Typhoon predates the wave of cheaper overseas cyclonic imitations that started around 2006.

Should I get a Typhoon or a Monsoon?

Get the Typhoon if you want a dry pipe with no water to change. Get the Monsoon if you want water filtration in a spill-proof bubbler.
