The Ash Catcher Glass Pipe is one of many brilliant innovations from Chameleon Glass, and was one of the very first available in 2002. By indenting the mouthpiece, gravity naturally pulls any ash or particulate matter down into the base of the indent, keeping your smoke clean and clear.
To illustrate; imagine shooting a bow and arrow. If you aim at a funnel with the hole facing away from you, your arrow will hit the bullseye every time. Why? It’s directed into the hole by the funnel’s sides. However, if you aim at a funnel facing towards you, you’ll need to be extremely precise. The ‘arrow’ will deflect away by the sides of the funnel.
Similarly, the Ash Catcher Glass Pipe deflects ash and particulates away from the hole, keeping your smoke smooth and enjoyable. Plus, with its silver fuming, the pipe’s colors will shift from blues to greens to purples.
Don’t be fooled by the ‘dimple’ and ‘push-in’ knock offs of our Ash Catchers. Those knock offs are from overseas. Grav began making them in china in 2006.

How to Use
- Pack the bowl end and hold the carb open with a finger while lighting.
- Cover the mouthpiece end as you draw to build smoke, then release the carb to clear it.
- Draw slowly and steadily for a smooth, even hit.
Care & Cleaning
Clean with isopropyl alcohol and coarse salt, shake gently to loosen residue, then rinse thoroughly with warm water. Let it air dry fully before reuse.

It milks like no other. On day 2 of use and 6 or 7 bowls in and zero ash has gotten in mouth. Only negative is the bowl was smaller than I thought since its overall size is big. Regardless, if loaded full, it gives a satisfying hit or two. Would recommend. Will be buying an Ashcatcher spoon (for bigger bowl) next to compare.
Update: After a few weeks of use and with good/better herb its 2 or 3 hits. Changed from 4 to 5 stars. Great addition to anyones collection for sure.

I agree. Steamies are tough to drop a big bowl into unless you use significantly larger diameter tubing where the edge of the bowl push will not collapse the side of the tube. We’ll have the #401 back in production soon for that.
If I may, I suggest the #235-CC-AC, The “Big Bowl’ Ash Catcher pipe. We gather extra glass in the head for a larger blow out, then use a 5/8 sinker, normally reserved for the #401 steamroller and do a monster bowl push. I think thats the one for you. :)
