Rigs

Rigs are small water pipes built for concentrates. A quartz nail or banger replaces the flower bowl. Shop rigs, recyclers and spill-proof concentrate bubblers, then add a banger from nails and bangers.

Your Dab Checklist

  1. A rig or concentrate bubbler
  2. A quartz banger that matches the joint size and gender. See nails and bangers.
  3. A dabber
  4. A carb cap
  5. A torch

Rigs stay small for a reason. Concentrate vapor is dense and full of flavor, and a short, low-drag path delivers it before it cools and condenses. The McCoy Oilers Reynolds Ultra Low Drag Rig is built around that idea.

What is the difference between a rig and a bong?

A rig is smaller with less water and takes a quartz banger for concentrates. A bong takes a bowl for flower.

What banger fits my rig?

Match the joint size, usually 10mm or 14mm, and the opposite gender. A female joint on the rig takes a male banger.

Why use a quartz banger?

Quartz heats evenly, handles high temperatures and doesn't affect flavor.

Can I use a rig for rosin or live resin?

Yes. Use lower temperatures to keep the terpenes and flavor.
