Rainforest Glass Pipe

Shimmering Greens mix with pastels while specs of blue glint through the canopy above. Sounds like you’re trekking through the Amazon Basin. In actuality, you are deeply investigating your new Chameleon Glass Rainforest inside out glass pipe.

Functional

The Rainforest is fabricated with 38mm x 4mm borosilicate Pyrex tubing. A sparkly layer of dichromatic glass (spaceship windshields) is colored on one side and then melted shiny side down into the glass. Silver is atomized into fume and set on the inside of the tube. The silver is then encapsulated behind both clear and color rod lines. A layer of Gold is then atomized and fumed over all the decorations. The mix of fume, clear and colored rods (squiggles) provides the decoration and color changing effect. A 1/2″ carbon push hot forms a large bowl.

Prepare to be delighted by its enchanting pink hue. Color change leans to purple and red courtesy of the silver  and gold fuming over color melting technique in the interior. Melted into the interior? Yes. Inside Out or Double Blown technique takes it’s name from working the INSIDE of the Pyrex tube. While more difficult, Inside Out provides far more depth and dimensionality to your chunky functional art.
