Today’s Piece of the Day is a reticello mini bubbler rig by Caleb Siegler. This 3 section rig is fit with a 14mm inverted male joint, diffused downstem to inverted sump percolator combo.
When I am unsure of a unique idea, I always use bottled water and test the perc. I classify this as a mini due to the water volume. Only a few teaspoons are required. It is also a mini because like minis in general, you should not use this if your name is Hoover. If you inhale like a vacuum, you will get water because minis typically do not have room for a splash guard and most consumers overfill them. If you inhale normally, you are fine.
Piece of the Day 07242025 is the latest addition from a collection of very unique one of a kind Chameleon prototypes, archived and found during physical inventory models alongside local Arizona artist pieces that we’ve conserved and curated over the years. This POTD comes with a Bonus: A Klein Bottle Reticello Pendant featuring Alien Tech from Northstar. Whasat you ask?
The Klein bottle invites us to question our intuitions about space and dimension. In everyday life, we separate the inside from the outside — pour water into a glass, fill a balloon with air. But a Klein bottle is a continuous surface: it has no boundary, no inside, and no outside. Actually, I am not sure which is the ‘bonus’; the pendant or the rig.
