This inside-out chillum captures the visual spirit of the Northern Lights, inspired by late-night sky gazing on Alaskan fishing trips — the same design concept as its sibling, the Aurora Borealis Glass Pipe.
Functional Design & Craftsmanship
Fabricated on 50×5 tubing for maximum thickness and a chunky hand feel, the piece starts with lots of dichro, then an initial layer of silver fume trapped with clear and cobalt blue stringers. After a stint in the oven, gold fume is applied for a genuinely colorful, night-sky-over-Alaska color change effect.
