We go out of our way to differentiate this pipe from average wrap and rake by using more expensive colors like Heavy Blue Leprechaun Blue and Millenium Moss Green which both have sparkle. The red model uses our special dense Chameleon shade Red Elvis that does not become watered down when stretched like other generic red color. UV is Northstar Luna.
This pipe gets its name from the indented mouthpiece that serves as a dry filter ash catcher, and the eye-catching patterned decoration. As one of Chameleon Glass’s many pioneering designs, the Ash Catcher was one of the first of its kind when it hit the market in early 2002. By indenting the mouthpiece, the Ash Catcher creates a natural gravity effect that pulls anything heavier than air (like ash or particulate matter) away from the mouthpiece hole and down to collect at the base of the indent, keeping your hits smooth and clean.
To illustrate this concept, think of the Ash Catcher like a bow and arrow. If you shoot at a funnel with the hole pointing away from you, your arrow will hit the bullseye every time because it will be deflected into the hole. But if the funnel is pointed at you, your aim must be precise to avoid hitting the sides of the funnel and having your arrow deflected away. First time buying from Chameleon. Bowl looks and feels awesome. Hits beautifully, feels durable, etc. I made a few requests when purchasing, not expecting much honestly. I asked for my carb to be on the left and any extra lighters or stickers. Guess where the carb was? Yup, on the left. Guess what I got on the side? Yup, a lighter, a sticker & a f***ing hi-chew!! I was left more than satisfied. Hi-chew was delicious (when are they not). I will recommend to friends and personally, I will only buy my pieces off Chameleon from now on.
