About the Ascension Glass Pipe
This chunky inside-out piece uses multi-layer silver and gold fume for an amazing color-change show.
Functional Design & Craftsmanship
Constructed on super-heavy 45mm diameter x 5mm wall thickness clear Pyrex borosilicate using the cup technique — cupping the raw glass tube looks a lot like making a wine glass. The tube is heated to deformation temperature (~1800°F) and opened using a carbon rod and centripetal force as it’s spun. Fume is added to the interior and baked into the glass with the torch’s jet flame, with clear stringers trapping the fume and adding depth. As you use the pipe, the color-changing fume shifts through blue, green, pink, and purple.

How to Use
- Pack the bowl and light at an angle to draw flame evenly across the surface.
- Cover the carb (if present) while lighting, then release as you inhale to clear the chamber.
- Draw slowly and steadily for a smooth, even hit.
Care & Cleaning
Clean with isopropyl alcohol and coarse salt, shake gently to loosen residue, then rinse thoroughly with warm water. Let it air dry fully before reuse.
