This spoon-style pipe showcases a multi-layered color-changing design built from both silver and gold fuming.
Functional Design & Craftsmanship
A silver or gold fume layer is applied first, creating the foundation for the deepest color change, then encapsulated with marbles while any un-encapsulated fume is burned off. A second fume layer using the other precious metal is then applied and encapsulated with additional marbles layered on top of the first set, building real dimensionality and a wider color range than a single fume layer could produce.
