Aurora Borealis Glass Pipe
Never heard of it? Maybe under a different name, say, Northern Lights? When I look at this inside out pipe, the first thing that came to mind was how much it reminded me of late night sky gazing during fishing trips to Alaska. Mainland types only get glimpses of the what the lights look like, but this beauty is a pretty good version in glass.
This model is fabricated on 50×5 for maximum thickness and chunky hand feel. Lots of dichro is added, then the initial silver fume is added, then trapped with clear and cobalt blue stringers. After a stint in the oven, gold fume is applied for awesome color change, leaving and amazingly colorful version of the night sky over Alaska.
