The Glenns Briar Glass Pipe is a hash lovers favorite for very good reason. We have chosen to include a unique bowl selection on a version of the Aragorns Briar Glass Pipe model; an old school Hash Bowl. We skip the bowl hole at the bottom of this bowl and put vents near the rim instead. Using a hot pick tool, three vent holes are punched close to the upper rim. The Hash Edition version ships with a quartz hot stick. Place a chunk in the bowl, heat the ball end of the hot stick with a common Bic Lighter for 30+ seconds or less with a torch and push the now slightly red ball of the hot stick into the chunk. As the chunk melts, it also vaporizes. The vapors are sucked into the vent holes before they escape the bowl.Chameleon has offered Hash Bowl style vented glass pipes since 2006. Ever since I was introduced to ice separation /concentration at the Harvest Cup, I have enjoyed bubble hash. No, not extracted oil like your damn pen, bubble hash. It's different. The Frog Glass Water Pipe by Trident stands between 14 and 16 inches tall. It is fabricated on 44mm wide by 4mm wall thickness clear pyrex. After the classic bubble base is blown, the glass is fumed with silver for Blue and Green color change. The mouthpiece is flared and the mid section offers an ice indent and an old school Mercury Seal joint. Each piece offers a matching color bowl and a life like glass sculpture of a frog climbing up the neck.Many of the lathe operators and tube arters come from a large lamp working tree with it's roots in the soil of Jerome Baker Designs. Inside out technique works the interior of the base raw borosilicate tube to create depth and dimensionality of the chosen decoration.The Rainbow Dichro Glass Pipe is decorated with two strips of Green Grass Dichro backed with Cobalt Blue. In between and next to the dichro are stringers made from the colors of the rainbow.After decoration, the pipe is fully melted to maximize depth, dimensionality and durability. After the classic bubble base is blown, the glass is fumed with silver for Blue and Green color change. The mouthpiece is flared and the mid section offers an ice indent and an old school Mercury Seal joint. Each piece offers a matching color bowl and a glass sculpture of a shark wrapped around the neck.Many of the lathe operators and tube arters come from a large lamp working tree with it's roots in the soil of Jerome Baker Designs. The American Flag Glass Pipe is fabricated with crushed glass called frit. Frit is created by taking perfectly good 10mm thick rods of colored borosilicate glass and bashing it into bits with a hammermill. Frit is similar in size and consistency to sand. Typically, these bits are scattered willy nilly into a pre-heated glass tube and melted into the glass from the inside out. Permeation Opal Chillum Glass Pipe
The Permeation Opal Chillum Glass Pipe is fabricated in several steps starting with the construction of vac stak tubing. Vac Stak uses several different colored rods temporarily 'tacked' (spot weld) into place inside a large diameter clear tube. The tube is chucked into a lathe with the head stock closed and the end stock fitted to a vacuum. We suck out the air with the vacuum and then heat the tube so the colored rod sinks into the clear. If there are any inclusions, the vacuum removes them so there are not bubbles trapped in between the clear and color. After the color has been permanently welded into place, the entire tube is heated and stretched several times until the correct size is available.Wig Wag describes heating a pinpoint diameter on the tube until liquifaction. Once that super small cross section of glass within the tube is liquid, we gently roll the opposite end counter clockwise. Move over 2mm, heat it up again and turn it clockwise. Repeat as many times as needed for what turns into a repeating 'W'.
