The Full Color Rasta Hash Bowl is a great option for a replacement bowl or an additional slide for your Chameleon Glass collection. Available on 14mm male joint. The Full Color Rasta Push Bowl is designed with glass marbles that keep heat from transferring from the bowl to your fingers when pulling the bowl out of your water pipe.We start with 9mm Pyrex tubing or a 14mm male Pyrex Ground Joint. Fabrication starts by applying a silver fume and heating the color rods. Red, Yellow and Green are used to melt stripes of color onto the clear Pyrex. While it's hot, we give it a twist for visual attraction.A fish bowl style fabrication is different than a push bowl style fabrication. Fish Bowls are decorated then flared into shape with a tool. Push Bowls are decorated and blown into a bubble. A hole is popped at the top of the bubble and a graphite rod is used to push the bowl back into itself.Pros of each are: Fish Bowls typically have more herb capacity. Push Bowls are always a bit cooler to the touch because of the double wall construction.The Full Color Rasta Hash Bowl looks like a standard water pipe bowl, but it's not.Chameleon has offered Hash Bowl style vented glass pipes since 2006. Ever since I was introduced to ice separation /concentration at the Harvest Cup, I have enjoyed bubble hash. No, not extracted oil like those damn pens, bubble hash. It's different. What's the difference you ask. Bubble and other concentrates do not employ solvents, aerosolizers or chemical thinners necessary for extraction / use in 'vape' pens. Solvents, aerosolizers and thinners stay in your extracted oil. Solvents also strip out all the 'other' good stuff like natural terpenes (flavonoids) and non-THC cannabinoids (CBD, CBG and CBN). I personally have solvent sensitivities which is why this is a hot button issue for me. Not to mention, extracts don't get me there anymore. Sure, there are times for near beer and vape pens, but my body craves the whole cornucopia / entourage effect of the plant.The Full Color Rasta Hash Bowl is a new application to an old school clear push style bowl. It's a hash lovers favorite for very good reason. We skip the bowl hole at the bottom of this bowl and put 2 vents near the rim instead. Unlike the hand pipes that have 3, we only put two vents in the pull bowl so anyone with a standard 45 degree angle neck waterpipe can use this without losing concentrate through a third vent.Using a hot pick tool, two vent holes are punched close to the upper rim. The Hash Edition version ships with a quartz hot stick. Place a chunk in the bowl, heat the ball end of the hot stick with a torch or a common Bic Lighter (Bic takes longer than a torch, probably 30+ seconds) and push the now slightly red ball of the hot stick into the chunk. As the chunk melts, it also vaporizes.
